Improved skins and textures?

Is there such a mod for RTW / BI / Alexander that basically updates the in-battle graphics and skins of vanilla, but leaves everything else untouched?

I love Medieval 2, but prefer the setting of Rome. I want to go back to playing Rome, but the graphics are such a step back from Medieval 2, that it may reduce my enjoyment (shallow of me, I know!).

There are a lot of skin packs in the download section:

But there are also a lot of mods, that have very nice textures and also remove the stupid CA's units into real historic also using better maps.
