Default Blood for the blood god!! skulls for the skull throne!!

    ARgggh!
i'm playing kingdom of jerusalem on vh/vh mode but after killing the gyppos and the mongols off in antiochean lands there're no more ppl lef tto kill (hence the title)
do the timurids come as well?
and do the french and english come as welll?
i feel like there should be a more diverse range of factions from which to butcher...
which is why i've gone back to the grad campaign as sicily...

Go against the Byzantines. Or the Venetians if they set up a lasting presence. Have you killed off the turks?

As far as I know, the French and English only come in the form of the crusading kings that join up with you (Richard the Lionheart for Jerusalem and Phillip for Antioch). If there's no one left to kill then you should have won, but apparently that hasn't happened?

I don't think the Timurids show up in the Crusades game, but I could be wrong there. I just don't think the timespan goes out that far.

    well it's complicated
after having hacked my share of egyptian heads, and impaled the last ghazi, and after having crucified upside down, every last cairo inhabitant, i found myself with the byzantines to far off to fight, an honourbound unbreakable alliance with antioch, and the mongols who were so deep inside antioch territory i'd hafta invade to go on.

it'd sure be ncie of the englisha dn french came to play ala 5th and 6th crusades^^

They shouldn't show up until 1400 or so, so thats 110 turns in or so... I am slowly pressing End Turn over and over as the Turks....

I do not remember seeing the Timurids scripted for the Crusades Campaign, so I doubt they will. Also it is 2 turns per years, so 1400 is like 400 some turns, way past game end date.

It's a shame really. And trust me, default for the Crusades is 2 years per turn. Open up the campaign script file and check the time stamp.

it'd be mad if the timurids did come along in kingdoms:crusades
i just need nother source of chaos that isnt the hadache of a maintenance of an empire:
i seriously cant handle the whole retraining units thing forever!! and the boring kingly duties of listening to factions' pathetic 'please do not attack <whine>'

Why don't you go take Baghdad? I'm thinking since you obviously has conquered egypt and probably hold Cyprus, then that's the last big city you need to hold for 10 turns to win.

If you've already won, I'd probably stop playing and start over with another faction, or perhaps make a fleet to send your armies to Constantinople.

The Mongols are so lame in the crusades campaign. I was playing Egypt and pwning the KoJ, when the messages started popping up about "OMG Mongol Horde, we all gunna dies!!!11"

Then they finally came, and so I looked over near the Baghdad region, and there was 1 full stack and 4 units.

Totally pathetic. I wish the invasions of the new factions were at least 3X stronger. SO there would be 12 Venetian stacks instead of 3, and more like 20 Mongol stacks. That would actually have an impact on the game...

In the first turn there is only two little mongol armies, but in the next turn 6 or 7 full stack armies appears. The thing is that after, they dont conquer any settlement. I've maked a gift of a city to see if I can stop them attacking me, but they attacked me all the same. But after 10 or 15 turns they only got one settlement (the one that I gifted) and they are wondering about with only attacking some PoA army.

There is a trick in wining Mongols First they have two full units at campaign map. My friend told me that he had killed them before others appeared. I don't know if that is true but you can try.
And Timruds will definitely not appear. I haven't seen them in my campaign. Only in MTW2 -non expansion.

a pity really, only having a few ppl left to kill
i do so enjoy high dread. my current faction leader has excess dread to the point of being a 'field tyrant' with a daughter who's a 'total bimbo'
i kid u not. she really has that on her trait list.
and thank you to whoever gave me the rep
    .....
when the time comes, i shall make sure ur death is quick and painless

Haha, didn't know bout bimbo thing. It's nice to know.
But the question is what dread brings good except fear at the battlefield?

what good does high dread do?
i find it opens a whole heap of options for you in the campaign, and sine i use assassins and spies quite extensively, even preferring to use spies rather than siege equipment, i find utilising assassins gets things done smoother
as for high dread, it gives u more authority, altho i think chivalry does that too, and ur enemies qill break sooner
