    Default a quick question

    how can I move a unit that is recruited in one building to another.

    To be more precise, how would I go about moving the kievan palace guard from a max rank mayor's palace to the max ranked castle barracks?

    Copy the line for the kievan palace guards from the mayor's palace to the castle barracks.
    Baird: "Hey! Stop shooting it, you're pissing it off!"

    Cole: "You're telling me what not to shoot in here? Look at this ****!"

    I just checked, I did in fact move it, but in game, it does not show up as recruitable on the building browser.

    I added this line (with the other units)

    recruit_pool "Kievan Palace Guard" 1 0.34 2 1 requires factions { kievan_rus, }

    to
    material wooden
    construction 6
    cost 6000
    settlement_min city
    upgrades
    {
    armoury
    }
    }
    armoury castle requires factions { denmark, poland, teutonic_order, jerusalem, ireland, norway, hre, france, scotland, england, knights_templar, turks, egypt, moors, hungary, greek, sicily, venice, portugal, spain, aragon, milan, kievan_rus, }
    {
    convert_to 3
    capability

    He might have made a backup file, renamed it and accidentally modded the copied one instead of the original EDB.

    thats what I did without realizing it.

    I always tinker around with stainless steel and have most of the files I tinker on saved as originals with slightly different names.

    I was just modding my back up file rather than the actual edb
