Darthmod, patches and gold edition.

I have Rome Gold edition (the one that comes with BI all on one disc). I have played it quite a bit and wanted to try a mod out. I saw this one and I realy wanted to play it. This meant I would actualy have to get around to patching my game to 1.5 which in turn needs patch 1.3. I downloaded 1.3 and tried to install it but it said there was no Rome: Total War installed on the computer. Is there a way that I can install the patches or install this mod without them?

P.S I also tried to install the 1.5 and 1.6 patches anyway but a message popped up saying they were incompatible.

You dont need patches, since gold edition is already patched to 1.5 and Barbarian 1.6...you can controll it by looking properties menu..

So, just install mod..

Note; if you can play vanilla without any problem, which means no corruption of files during patch installation...directly install mod...:
