I saw Ted Haggard himself when I visited Colorado Springs, this was before he was declared gay and did bad stuff even though he had a wife and children. His churched seemed wierd, all the Pentecostal stuff they were walking all over the place. His church seems to attract lots of kids.

not that I in anyway like that self loather Haggar but Haggard got mad at Dawkins for referring to his children as animals. Dawkins then said that Humans are animals. I personally think that Dawkins intentionally provoked Haggard for to call another human an animal is to degrade them.

Title should be Moron A vs Moron B. Guys like Haggard are blinded by religious nonsense but Dawkins in turn is blinded by his own intelligence. You will never, ever win the argument when you are combative or dismissive of faith regardless of how correct you are. It's like walking into someones house and they ask you how you like it and then you precede to highlight everything wrong with the house....people's natural defenses will engage to block against what they see as an attack on them. Religious people have good intentions too....Im not saying Dawkins is a bad person just that imo he suffers from alot of the same symptoms of religious leaders. They both believe strongly that they are right (pushing aside for a moment on what actually IS right) that neither will see the point the other one is trying to make.

Obviously as my posts have indicated Im not religious in the slightest and honestly have no time for concept of a god but society can exist with both science and religion side by side and in the case of Dawkins and Haggard it is one or the other and that is something that is completely counter productive.
