    Default Getting back into Rome

    Today is thanksgiving, and I feel like going back to my favorite game of all time. Rome. What I wnat to know iis for you guys who are still playing, what are the best mods? I am downloading Rome Total Realism Platinum and Europa Barbarom. Is there anything else I should try?

    You should try Mundus Magnus and XGM ( Extended Greek Mode ) .

    Since this already about mods I have RTW unmodded unpached but im going to try to mod and patch it today what is the best way to go about this?(for example i should get this patch before i get this mod)

    Wow you dont have patchers?

    1.0 is buggy .

    First upgrade to 1.3 then 1.5 then mod.

    Good stuff guys, I like SPQR teh most so far. Roma serectum is quite interesting too. I am going to try the extended greek mod now.

    I miss the better graphicsof Medieval II, but these mods have much better battle AI and cooler units imo.

    After a quick google search, you can get them here, the official total war page.

    This is the third time in a week that I've seen people playing with 1.0, why wouldn't you patch?
