Default SCREENSHOT COMPETITION - NOVEMBER/DECEMBER (SUBMISSIONS ONLY)

I always liked that competition. And if it's okay with the devs, then I'll host it from now on.

    Rules:
Submit your pictures (must be from RS, duh) before December 15 Central US time
    One submission per person
No repeat submissions unless it's been a year
Winner will be determined by voting after the deadline
Voting will go for a week

I just hope people understand irony around here without me having to write it in small letters at the bottom of my post.

As always my hat is off to you LiT.
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments.

To Oli: I have the images picked and some of the writing done; I just need a few free minutes to put it together. But since I'm up to proverbial backside in final exams and papers, I probably won't get a chance until after Christmas.

To MarcusTillius: Very nice image. I like how you captured the feel of General watching the battle from above the high ground - just a few men, with the troops moving beneath him.

    + Rep for that.
