Have you guys ever one the battle when Brutii was battlin the Parthians

in the desert cauz the cata r to strong and the persian cavalry or somthin are fast and all my cohorts got owned evertime

use testudo formation when the persian cav is firing at you, but when you see the cata's charging at your cohorts get out of testudo formation.

i alomst won it when the catas r still a mile away i used my cav to attack the persian cavalry then (they re fas so i didnt catch up) then i have to cavalry troops one went the left and one at the right i charged the catas using my cavalry on thier sides then i used my cohorts to finish the rest,then when all things where going well the persian still r gettin away and in their horse they can fire whike so i lostttttttt but i did learn somethin i know the catas in that battle r not that bad but the persians are they will probably run away in their fast speed

wat should i do testude my men till all thier arrows are gone or keep on attackin till they re tired

Retreat to the big hill directly behind you to your right. Then you can go into testudo until the cavalry charge, or even peg them with pilums! Try to use all your pilums before engaging.

Just keep them in testudo untill the Cataphracts come, slaughter them, then get back into testudo and wait them out. (wait for their ammo to run out) Use pila whenever possible.

Whatever default is, medium I think. I'll play it again on harder if you want.

I did Hard one and still i lost its was really really close

all my cavalry are dead so are there catas the persian cavalry attacked but my army is still to small cauz when i fought the catas but it was really close

6 persian cavalry were left

but i did try historic battle with hannibal barce but i was the julii so i did vh/vh then the carthaginians came out of the forest i got really OWNED
he only lost 100 troops but it was the weak ones to

As soon as battle starts break the testudo.Retreat fast to a small hill to your left.Enable fire at will and guard mod to first cohorts.Keep your general behind your infantry and roman cavalry on the right.When cataphracts charge attack them with everything you got.The aim is to destroy that armoured horses from hell.After destroying cataphracts go back to testudo again and wait to persian cavalry's charge.When they charge break again testudo and attack them bravely.I hope you will win but the most important thing is to be on that hill when cataphracts charge-that's your way from hell.
