Ok, here's the dealio.

I patched M2TW to 1.2, with no problems. I then download CAE and the fixer, following all the directions. However, when I try to start CAE, I get the M2 tab to come up, the CAE loading screen to start and the loading hour glass to appear, but then it suddenly halts. It says, "Medieval 2 encountered an unspecified error and will now close", then promptly does so.

Anybody who can help me trouble shoot?

Edit: May have isolated the problem in patch 1.2. I can't run regular M2 either. I'll try reinstalling.

I can keep all the executables right? For patch 1.2, CAE and the fixer? Those took a while for me to download. D:

Edit 2: Nevermind, I have succeeded in stamping out the roots of heresy. -I mean, errors.
