    Default Problem with playing Mods

Hello everyone. I recently tried to play EB and Rise of Persia. But for some reason they are not working, and now even my regular Barbarian Invasion is failing to work. Now before anyone goes into "Did you get the prerequisites?"

Yes, 1.3 is covered by BI, and then I downloaded both 1.5 AND 1.6 just to be sure. When I first had problems, someone told me to make an identical folder of the RTW folder and reinstall the mods there, now my BI is crashing to the desktop just like my mods, and RoP takes up the RTW slot....

Edit: I just realized there's a bug report section to EB.... If only I could move the post.

For EB, it is suggested that you do not have any other mods on at the same time. Some that work entirely out of the mod folder (like FATW) probably should work, but we do not suggest running multiple mods, as it can cause problems.

The suggestion for making a copy of the RTW folder is:
Before you install any mods, copy the RTW folder.
Install one mod on each folder and make sure the desktop icons reference the correct folders. As long as neither mod contaminates the other mod's version of the RTW folder, they should both work.

Right, I have gotten your mod to play, but there are frequent and random crashes. Say when I'm clicking my capitol, or exitting a battle. They are VERY FRUSTRATING.

I've just finished a battle as the Getai. My 350 men against 874 rebels in a town with a two star general. I win a heroic victory, with around 170 of my men left and none of the enemy alive. I click the check mark to exit the game and.... I wait... I wait... I wait... Then I see my desktop screen and RTW is no longer in the bar that shows what programs you're running. WHY GOD! WHY?!

If you by CTD when clicking on your capital, you mean the Romans? If so, there is a fix for that. Check the fixes stickied thread for more.

Was the post battle CTD in a battle with three or more armies (someone had reinforcements)?

The capitol thing was for the Getai, Makedon, and Pontus. And no, there were no reinforcements in the battle.

Hmm. Strange errors like that probably mean that your system is a bit slow or something may have corrupted.

    What are your system stats?

And you may want to try the validation tool to see if the EB download was corrupted.
