select item from list problem.

Hi guys,

I know some other people have had this problem,but none of the remedies seem to work for me.

i have a clean install of rome and BI with EB1.0 and all the permanent fixes.

However with both the rome and BI EXE i still get Select Item from list when i try to start a new campaign.

a strange thing is when i hold my cursor over my .exe files i the information reads file version 1.0.0.0 is that normal? (Bi and rome exes). i did run rome patch 1.3 1.5 and bi 1.6.

tried -nm and the new map.rwm but neither work my shortcut reads.

"E:\Games\Rome Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -nm -mod:eb -show_err

Got an ATI Radeon X700 graphics card? Apparently some setting called "Support DXT textures format" is creating problems. Try to change this setting for the driver called "Support DXT textures format".

just read this in the validation post...... tried it as i'm running an x700 but alas no result.

I don't know anything about a videocard problems.
If you can't figure this out, you may want to try posting on the Org, you will get much more bug-report feedback there.
