Can't reinstall patch

Trying to install RTR mod on my copy of rome and when i try to reinstall the 1.2 patch coz i installed RTR in the wrong directory first time, it says patch 1.2 is already installed but i uninstalled rome total war already how can the patch still be there if the program which it is applied to was reinstalled. Need some help here as patch 1.2 is necessary to make RTR work, and i was so close to making it work!

Go to:

My copmuter > Control panel > Add/Remove programs

And unistall patch 1.2 from there then install everything again.
