Default Potentior, The Battle of Alesia

Hi, I found some videos on YouTube about the battle, made in Rome Total War. Please understand this movie that they made couldn't be made that accurate since the Rome engine has its downsides.

PS: I know someone posted about this earlier, a link to somewhere you can download it. I thought I shouldn't revive dead threads, so I made a new one.

    Sacre Bleu!

Caesar was Marcus Fenix, I was right all along!

The movie has good production qualities, but come on! This would have us believing Vercingetorix wanted to eat our children and rape our husbands/wifes!

The story and units portrayed in the movie have little to do with reality.

The creator could have at least used early legionaries, but it seems he didn't even bother to research a bit.

Either way, using vanilla to recreate a historical battle is plain stupidity/lazyness.

I think everyone's overlooking the obvious here: this is remarkable video-making and story-telling.

Forget the historical-inaccuracies and poor voice-acting; if I had half as much dedication as the guy who made this, I'd be making my own little RTW-inspired movies. Instead, I'm using FRAPS, and I don't even bother with editing from different angles.

I applaud whoever made these videos.
