    no way, kingdom of England became the greatest empire in the world, the middle eastern armies were no match for the the european armies on a 1 to 1 ratio, it was generally through force of numbers and logistics that the european armies were beaten ( and infighting ) but man for man they were unbeatable, quite often the crusader armies were vastly out numbered yet prevailed through superior skill and tactic's and sometime shear luck of coarse, none the less very interesting time in history and alot of brilliance in all the peoples and cultures of the time

    Yeah, thats true but if romans (byzantines included) did'nt occupy there england and the rest of the barbarians that became civilized would not be that cool or brave. So Byzantines still rock!
