Fighting William Wallace

Well to my suprise William Wallace appeared in Scotland right when i was about to destroy the Irish at Cork. At first i was like OMG Sweet then realised i had no army in england. Anyway i had to leave cork and got my army in between Wallace and York. I decided to attack because behind Wallace was another 3 stacks of scots and i didnt know if i could take wallace alone as his units were pretty experienced. Half way through the battle loading screen the game crashed and said it encountered an unspecified error. Any suggestions on how 2 fix it? thanks in advance
