hi everyone.

i'm playing eb 1.0 with kh. at the beginnig i was having frequent random ctd's (around 1 ctd every 5 turns). then i remembered that i have played eb 0.8 with BI.exe and never, NEVER had a ctd.

so i set the mod to run with BI.exe, and had a great improvement( still have ctd's but very seldom, 1 in 20 turns or more). i know eb is not designed to be played with BI.exe, but can somebody explain me why it works better with it?(at last in my pc)

and why are you so emphatic in discouraging the use of BI.exe?

I don't see any reason that it should. No reason either exe would work better (as far as crashes go) than they other. Maybe it is just a coincidence...

this may sound stupid, but i dont know that much of technical stuff, but how do you make it work with BI.exe and dont tell me i'll have to reinstall the game??

may be it is, but even if it is must have an underlying reason. if someone else has the same result...well it's not a coincidence.

and with all due respect saying that it's a coincidence its too simplistic

there's a post that explains the procedure step by step. search for it, i'm afraid that if i tell you how to do it i'll forget something, but don't worry there's no need to reinstall, but of course make back ups.
