That always happens when you try to export a bad model.BTW after the error, the export part of the script dissapears and i have to reload it into max.
Right click over the 'skin' in the modifier stack and copy it, then trash it, select the model, right click over it and at the bottom of the pop up select ''convert to poly'', then go back to the modifier stack and right click over ''editable poly'' (the uv modifier will disappear) and select 'paste' to bring back your ''skin''..btw how do i collapse the uvw into an editable polly? i right click,i press collapse to,and WHAMY! the modifier dissapears instantly. in gmax im used to the collapse button making it part of the unwrap of another
I think that err msg means something in your model shouldn't be there and can't be exported, it could be an animation or an extra scene root, not sure, it could be anything..
i'll leave this model be. thanks for trying to help me guys. i could not appreciate it more.
I made an allied soldier for the julii with a nice 'ol tommy. my gran was a particular fan o' those since when he said "tommy" in that description of the sniper>medic war crime it seemed to come out with high estime
