can't install mtw 2 anymore

ive had a ca_libs error when after that i installed mtw 2 kingdoms
so i wanted to reinstall the game but i couldnt do it so i tryed to manually uninstall the game but now when i try to reinstall the game
i get : the setup has detected that version 1.02 .001 is already installed , this steup installs an erlier version of medieval total war
you will have to uninstall the previous version
but how do i do that , ive deleted the whole folder + in regedit

Open up your installation disk and manually select the setup.exe file see if that works for you.

i had a problem similar to that, after i had uninstalle dit, there was a little message on the finishing screen telljing me i had to delete some files manually. So i went into search, typed "Medieval total war" it came up with some stuff, deleted all that came up and it went fine when i tried to install it again!
