The Tournament of Carthage (Sunday, November 25)

The legendary war-leader, Hannibal, has invited a select group of friends and enemies of Carthage to the field of battle. Yes, it's a tournament. It should be said that Hannibal has given a slight incentive to use Carthage against Roman players. I will talk more about this later!

Here are the factions that Hannibal has graciously invited to the slaughter:



Here are some of the special rules for this tournament:

1) This pertains solely to Carthage-Rome matchups. If a Carthage player defeats any Roman faction, he/she will be awarded 1.3 pts for that battle. But if a Roman player defeats a Carthage player, he/she will only receive 1.0 pt for that battle. For any other matchup, the winner will only receive 1.0 pt.

Hint: 4 wins as Carthage (vs Romans) will be valued higher than 5 wins as Rome.

2) Seleucid players will have a Chariot Max of 1. Thus, Seleucid players can only bring 1 chariot unit per battle.

3) No Corner Camping

2) the game is Rome: Total War (version 1.5)

3) denarii level: 10,000

4) map: Syrian Flats

5) Tourney Factions: Carthage, Numidia, Macedon, Seleucids, Greece, Julii, Brutii, Scipii, SPQR

6) Do not restrict the movement of the camera

7) Unit Size should be "Large" unless someone's computer can't handle it.

8) In-Game Rules:
- exclusive to Carthage-Rome battles: if the Carthage player wins, he/she will receive 1.3 pts.
- Seleucid players can only field 1 chariot unit per battle
- No Corner Camping

9) 1 vs 1 tournament

10) After you finish your battle, please wait for me to assign you your next opponent

11) You can switch factions as you please.

12) After a battle, both players will report the results to me (I want to know who won, and which factions were used)
