    MacMillan doesn't compensate for variable humidity,wind speed and direction or the coriolis effect. Mother nature compensates for where Macmillan's crosshairs are.

    Not bad live though their famous for being great studio band.

    They're not bad - my father is a huge fan of theirs though.

    As for me, I just discovered (for myself, obviously) Dire Straits, and have been listening to them all day. Some good stuff there - love Sultans of Swing and Lions.

    Love them, though I haven't heard much of their stuff (no more than 10 or 20 songs).

    I have, however, seen them live.

    And my dad, who was with me (and has seen them live before) said it was one of their best performances. I was well-chuffed.

    Recent, too (North Sea Jazz 2007)

    Deacon Blues and Do It Again are just amazing.

    Reelin' in the Years and Rikki Don't Lose That Number are some of the earliest songs I remember listening to.
