    Default English Gendarmes?

Being as the game ends in 1530, shouldnt England have some form of heavy knight equivalent to a French gendarme or German Gothic knight? I mean the wars of the roses were in the late 1400's and that conflict saw the use of extremely heavily armoured knights, the like of which arent represented by the existing English knight model.

    Anyone share my opinion?

i can see your point but england is alreaddy a very strong faction in terms of balance, and adding a super heavy cav for them would make them good at almost everything. and the generals cav is one of those super heavy cav units.

Yeah, for the sake of balance they should be left out, were it not for that, they probably would have them, they already have extreme archers and heavy infantry.

They were behind with the introduction of knights wearing 'gothic' style plate (though it was a different style in England), so it was later and more limited, so having the generals only wearing it isn't so bad. Also, because the English Knights in the game are armed with armor-piercing axes and have shield, they tend to be more effective in melee vs other knights that the gendarmes/lancers.
