    Default Spice up your game

For those religiously opposed to using cheats against the comp, read no further. However, if as I've heard a lot lately, the AI's armies are too weak to provide a decent challenge, then you may want to try a neat strategy I've been using and having a lot of fun with, of late.

Playing as the Russians, (and not trying to win the whole map) I've conquered about what the old Soviet Union had in the 80's and stuck with that. I have marauding armies hit particularly annoying factions in good strategic locations and, after I've taken a castle or city, I use the cheat codes (add population & build fast) to bolster that region to the fullest, then gift the region and a ridiculously large sum of money to another faction.

Do this (a lot) and you'll eventually have tougher enemies to face.

If you're like me, you play this game primarily for the battle maps, and hang all the diplomacy, merchant meddling & burning witches (who incidentally weigh as much as a duck, thus enabling them to float, proving their made of wood). Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn herrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

    Have fun!

I modded in +6 exp and +6 morale for AI recruitment, making AI armies a LOT tougher.

Sounds interesting... although the enemies would not feel as authentic.
I love being killed by Ai built armies... almost never happens but on occasion they truly do outgun me... gives a good change of pace.
