Campaign Map Bug?

Hey everyone. I'm new at Rome Total Realism.
I've gotten everything installed just fine, but I have a problem.
When I try to start a campaign, the campaign map isn't showing up right. There are borders, and settlements, but no land. It just looks like water with drawn borders.

Is anyone else having this problem?
Does anyone know how I can fix it?

i had the same thing when i started out - upgrading the drivers of the graphical card did the trick for me ...
