Can´t bring up the console!

Ive tried and tried and i just cant bring up the console! on the net it says press the ~ button but it doesnt work for me! what should i do ! plz help me...

If you are with different keybord, try the button that is left of 1 button.

It is the key below the Esc key, left of the 1 key and above the TAB key.

Or try a different keyboard if the tilda (thats what ~ is) is not working

That key doesnt work either! I cant change keyboard as i play on a portable computer. Ive tried the key you said even pressing that key and ctrl, alt, and alt gr at the same time! Any1 know if theres another key you can try? i know ive managed to bring up the console accidentically....

btw, im playing stainless steel. That might be the problem?

There was the same problem with RTW, so you should probably look in those threads?

Something I can think of is resetting the keys. Go into options and it you can change the hotkeys for battles and campaigns as well. Maybe it's set as a different key. Post back if you suceed

Are you using a "scandinavian" keybord? If som it´s the "Æ" button. Third button to the left from "Enter", the row just above the "shift" key.

i sugest pressing all the buttons one after an other until it pop up worked for me

I havent tried resetting the controls yet.. will edit when itve done that. I use a swedish keyboard with the letters å, ä, ö not a danish one. But ill catch up later! i try pressing all the buttons!

Edit: Managed to get the console up! at the same spot as the danish letter we swedes have an "Ö" thats the button thanks for your help all!

My console key was the '+@ key. Second left of L.

Not sure why that was, I thought British keyboards had the same console key as American, but clearly not this one.
