    Default Princess?

Playing 5.1 as venice I never had a single princess. I pl;ayed about 50 turns in later era. Have they been disabled or somehting?

Do they have a family tree? Some factions don't, an example is the Teutonic Order.

Check your family tree, did your family members even give birth to a girl? And, venice do have a family tree.

I had the best birthrate for boys with Lithuania in my newest campaign... 5 boys in 6 years! 1 daughter so I sent her to Byzantium to try to marry her off

And it's also annoying how your generals can't propose marriage. I just saw this most luscious 8-heart Irish lass that my second son would just love to get his hands on.

Since you can't get your hands on her then send an assassin to silence her. That should end your temptation.

    well theres a good point.

I personly find princesses rather useless. Marriage alliances are rare since it can only be with the heir (maybe king too) I personly dont want my princesses bringing back foreigners into my court since they tend to steal the crown someday.

yeah, but it is very amusing when you marry the general who's steaming into your lands, load him up with an army and send him straight back

I once married Anna Comnemnos to the Hungarians' best general. But the number of turns required to get him back to my lands left my relationship with them in the crapper. Soon they invaded and I sent my newest general right back at them

Nope. He captured a number of settlements from Hungary. I think his brother-in-law got jealous of him

You can marry off your very young daughters before they have a chance to become a princess I believe, that may be why.

Was that possible? I thought they had to come off age first.

I didn't think so, but when I got an offer to marry off a girl, I checked in the family tree before accepting, she was 13 I believe, and still had the little girl face and no heart value. (I was tipped off because the previous turn I looked all over for a princess and found none)

Remember that you only get princesses from your king and faction heir. The daughters of anyone will not appear as agents
