Looking at the 2nd picture which tone has provided.
We have all different types of helmets.
1. Attic
2. pilos
3. Thess ?
4. Chalk.
5. And their most common one that looks like a big chocolate kiss.
6. And some with facemacks which i love!
7. And open faced corth helemts.

MACEDON!!!!!

After Rome, this is my favorite faction. I love Macedonia. I've even read The Campaigns of Alexander by Arrian of Nicomedia. A great read, although there was a lot of "Alexander came to the city, Alexander lay siege to the city, Alexander took the city." And, of course, it's about a hundred years ahead of the time for this mod.

I'm excited about this faction!

I love the shields and helmets on this - it'd be great to have some of these cheekgaurds and to have all the phalangites (other than the silver shields) using variations on these shields. Should be possible to copy and paste these in and do a bit of work on them to make them look good - I'm quite happy to do the shields:

As a historical question, did the Greeks (and I know these are Macedonians, but I'm including them in the overall "Greek" catagory) paint their shields or paint emblems on them? Just curious . . . I kind of liked the shield designes in RS (the dolphin shield and Sycilian Hopolites comes to mind). Will these be all gone?

in RL there were both, although my skinning prefrences tend to be painted on for regular units, and eblazend for the more elite units.

Yes ! that's what i kinda figured. Since we have a ton of Greek information and Spartan discussions. all these coming previews are going to awestruck!
I thought Seleluludes was going to be the best.
But after pontus and the others, you might as well call it RS3 since its too good for 2!

you are right about that. They painted their own personal colors or designs or the unit they were in.
but how many phal. are we to have ? 3 to 4 units?
Maybe a few different types of shields but staying with the Greek mace. tradition.
