    Default siege equipment?

    i like this mod so far but cannot find the siege equipment! ballistas, onagers and such are in this mod right? i would imagine it hard to assault large walls without them.

    It depends on who you are playing at. They are there from the start for the Hellenes, but other factions need to steal them from the greeks. The romans can build then after the marian reforms.

    wow thats a really cool and unique way to do seige equipment man i gotta wait all the way to marius to get em geez its gonna be a looooong 100 years or so lol

    How exactly would one steel them from the Greeks? Just curious...

    You can build them in greece I believe. Can't remember the exact recruitment for them.

    Soooo, wil anything be done to include onagers, petroboloi or any other catapult unit in the next version? It is just a little stupid (please excuse me for saying this) to see ballistas firing stones.

    Onagers were not around in our time-period. Catapulta were, but these are basically very large ballista. We cannot make these new siege units as we do not have the talent on the team to do the new animations for them.

    What period was the onagers introduced or used in warfare?

    Well, bribing is actually a thing I practice quite often, as in all my campaigns I have a treasury of 400k+ by the late 240s B.C. On the other hand I always play as a Greek faction, though I never recruit siege equippement

    Hi maybe it's a little bit off topic I'm not sure but catapult firing missiles and there is no damage on buildings (damage vs buildings 0), but the i play custom battle i can just attack troops with special ability flaming arrows and a few buildings was burned to ashes so i wouldn't say that damage 0 just my opinion sorry if my English sucks

    It is a good point, but the reason that it has zero is so that nobody tries knocking walls down with it. I'm pretty sure that arrows are 0 against buildings too, it is just the fire ability that damages them.
