yes atm they are incorrectly made along the Knighlt order system, but im sure there is some text that you can change to correct this to make it realistic. Don't know about you guys but I cant really get into a faction if it doesent got a family tree for the rp aspect.
Well I cant get into the venice rp aspect because it has a family tree actually.
In descr_sm_factions.txt, each faction entry has the line:
(or yes)Code:has_family_tree no
Change this to yes for KoJ.
The file is in the Stainless_Steel\data directory.
Well historically the KOJ should have a family tree hence they are a kingdom. The teutons don't have a family tree because they are a military based organization of christian knights.
Thanks a great deal Caesar Clivus, + rep to you good sir![]()
I know little of the kingdom of Jerusalem, but it did not exist for long, thus only had a few succesions, maybe someone can tell us about the rulers and how they where related?
Hey again, ive enabled family trees but when I go in game I see that only the F.L is in the tree all alone. How would I go about creating other family members for the tree? Im trying to make it so that the F.L has a heir and a brother who will be Prince of Acre and he will also need an heir.
Thanks in advance
Richini
It would be nice to be able to but the general at Acre starts as faction heir, I guess I could arrange a nasty death for him! lol maybe ill just play as another faction that doesent have this trouble![]()
You have to edit the descr_strat.txt file in the Stainless_Steel\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\Late_Era_Campaign folder
Factions with family trees have a line at the bottom of their respective entries labelled "relative". Because KoJ doesn't have a family tree by default, you'll have to add one. Look at other factions' entries for how to do it![]()
Awesome, thanks thats exactly what I wanted to know. When im done ill post it if anybody wants it.
I don't understand how the relative thing works in the descr_strat file...
I don't know how to separate brothers and sons and stuff because there's different lines and different size spaces between stuff...
