    Default How to change time?

    Hi dudes,

    i was wondering, how can i change the time in M2TW? I mean, one single turn moves on for i think 2 years, how can i make it only movin' 1 year a the time?:hmmm:

    go to the installation folder of your M2TW. this should be C:/Program Files/Sega/Medieval 2 Total War
    if you are here, go through these folders: data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/. Here is a text document descr_strat.txt.
    right click on it, select properties, and make sure the read-only attribute is unchecked.
    Open the file, scroll down a bit, and there is a line timescale. this is what are you looking for. change it to a number of your decision, but the number cannot be lower than 0.5. and also you can edit there a lot of things. Just dont forget to BACKUP THE FILE first.

    I tried, but it says that i can't save it...weird.
