Using the Plague as a weapon

If I have a city that is affected by the Plague, will any agents residing in that city take the disease with them when they leave? Could they move to another factions region and spread the plague? This could be a nice way to make the Plague someone else's problem.

yes, this is possible. just make sure that your agent is infected. and then, you can make your enemys life sick!

if you double-click on an agent, there should be a skull....

plus it will tell you at the start of a turn what cities and people are infected.

A skull or a rat (don't remember) will appear in the character's portrait.

It appears around the time of the Black Plague event, not much use to spread it as a weapon like on RTW due to the fact that when your city has the plague chances are that at least 75% of the map's settlements are suffering from the plague as well. Its a simultaneous event, not like on RTW when only the odd occassional settlements were effected continously throughout the campaign.

If you ask me the RTW way was better as you could use it to your advantage where as on M2TW it all comes in one hit.

Hmmmm ? I have it happening occasionally to some of my cities, years and years before The Great Plague. I don't know how to prevent it

The black death is a major plague event true. But you do get smaller plague events also, that just effect 1 city. Think its to do with squalor though I'm not sure.
