    Default Mongol issue

    Well my problem is, im playing as venice the year is 1365 the timurids have just invaded and are wiping out the mongols. The last mongolian city is under siege i end my turn and the game frezes on the timurids, i can see that they have taken the city, and the game freezes just as that happens. Can anyone help me out with this?

    Thanks in advance. Amazing mod btw.

    is it repeatable?? if you loda the last saved game, does it happen again???

    ya its repeatable, i saved 2 turns before this and it happens every time i load the game

    instead of releoding your save game try from the autosave it creates just before you end turn

    tried it, just brings be back to the turn right before they get wiped out and as soon as i end turn freeze.

    is there a way i can like give them a settlement to prevent this, i cant get my diplomats over to them way to far and none of theirs are neer by.

    Ok fixed it, used move_character to get my diplomat to the mongols gave them one of my cities, no more crash and the next turn i just took my city back mongols are done.

    Hey cool... that is a CTD that sometimes occurs (IONO whether it's related to the character trait bug - this here CTD occurs in some cases when a faction's last city is taken but might be due to the last general being killed).

    This CTD is highly repeatable and as opposed to the "normal" character trait CTD, where it usually helps to move the offending character around a bit and/or get an AI faction to react to it, the last-city CTD is often inevitable even if you go back to a savegame 5 years before or so.

    If I remember correctly, the thing has been around since Rome, at least since Barbarian Invasion.

    It is good to see that a solution to it has finally been found!
