strange error???

Downloaded and installed EB v1 fine. I load the game and the loading gets past the first loading screen and past the intro movie but when it gets to the loading screen with the loading bar, there is no loading progress. I've waited up to 20mins yet there is nothing??? It doesn't even CTD, I have to use the Alt, Ctrl, Del technique and end task.

What is strange though is Windows seems to be installing something called PhotoGallery??? It doesn't seem to install though.

Any help!? Anybody else had this same problem?

I don't think that is EB related. It sounds like your computer is too over taxed doing something else and can't load RTW/EB. Have you tried manually ending task of whatever it is doing and tried again?

thanks for replying. The task only starts when I start EB, its very strange??? Sorry I failed to mention that.

If I tried ending as many process's in Task Manager as it will allow me, maybe it will start. I know EB is very memory demanding. If you have any other suggestions, I would appreciate the help.

Ah ha, no need to worry, I found this Photogallery application and uninstalled it, I think it may of been an Adobe update interfering with the loading, strange it only ever appeared when I started EB though. Sorry to have wasted anybody's time.
