Help seleucia

Can you people help me i've been trying to help seleucids survive because i want to fight them as romans but everytime i start they get killed by a mixture of parthia, pontus armenia and the egyptians act as the ringleaders. ive tried everyting i gavee them more money made their leader 10 stars and another member of the family, i conquered a city far away and when i tried to give it to them they refused they just keep getting killed! i even made them get silver shields at level 4 city and companions at lvl 3 city, i guess they were programmed by ca to be killed

My offer is this, decrease cost of selecuid units and make them vast amount of money at the begining..so they produce loads of units..

And make the units of enemy factions more expensive..

Another method increase the stats of the slecuid units, however, when fighting aganist them it becomes difficult..

Or you could DL a mod like say XGM or RS, both of those make the selukids total beasts as well as improving gameplay.

You can attack Egypt and divert their attention from the seleucids. Giving them Cyprus might help too

Download RS or EB or just edit the gamefiles and give them some extra units or more gold.

There is no way in vanilla to stop Egypt and Pontus from completely destroying TSE. TSE starts with no population except in 2 settlements, surrounded by enemies and on top of that, Pontus and Egypt get the crazy chariot auto-resolve bonus. CA definitely did not like the Seleucids for some reason.

BTW, XGM is great. Seleucids are monstrous, but still surrounded by enemies, could go either way.

I think I succeded in this once by giving The Seleucids Cyprus and Sidon, lowering their units' cost and increasing the population of their settlements. You might give them some money too. It worked for a while at least.

TSE is a beast in XGM or MM Map. Get either of those.
Or just adit her starting settlements and decrease stats of her enemies. whatever.

send a diplomat and just give em loads of money, as well as maybe do some surgical strikes on pontus and egypt (hit and run; devastate their armies and maybe a town or two, then pack up and leave)



ya know, TSE should actually control cappadocia and maybe susa also, maybe change setlement ownership in the descr-strat file...

If you realy whant to help the selucides i say do it but be carful what you give them because they might get to powerfull and take you over.
