My first 5.1 campaign is with Sicily and I am enjoying it so far.
I really like the new kite shield designs. I also find it a great improvement that Norman knights keep their unique appearance when upgraded, and have their original horses back too.
I noticed something strange though, one Sicilian castle in the late campaign has two units of light swordsmen in its garrison. Sicily does not have them on their roster though, and cannot recruit more. Maybe they could be put in their roster since they are in the game and seemingly have Sicilian textures assigned to them as well.
I would also like to make suggestions for the Sicilian roster. I think the muslim part of Sicily might need to show a little more than with just one unit. Maybe their mounted crossbowmen could be replaced by some sort of horse archers, or mounted spear throwers.
My other suggestion is to add another unit to show Sicily's norman roots. I am sure that not all normans that invaded Sicily where knights. This could be a unit that is also used by denmark or norway, or one that is only used for mercenaries at the moment.
I think I give two valid suggestions here, no new units need to be created for this, simply two existing units being made available to Sicily to show their great variety in bloodlines.
