Disabling Cheats?

Im just wondering if theres a way 2 disable the cheats in the non-hotseat game. Ive tried hotseat but i cant play the defensive battles i guess and i prefer playing as Kingdom of Jerusalem and i know it sounds horrible but i cant just not use cheats when im -15000 in debt and have Egypt and Turks in alliance at war with me :/. ( play VH/VH) After i use that one cheat i end up using it till i conquer the entire map. So ya any info on the disabling of cheats in the late era campaign would be awsome. (playing 5.1 btw)

Just limit yourself... dont need to cheat all out hehe.

Pull out your tilde key of the keyboard, that should do it.

What's wrong with using cheats? They make the game quite fun at times.

Nothing like a full stack of elephant rocketeers and elephant artillery...

lol i know i cant help it, i use 1 cheat and end up using a billion

. I was lookin in the stainless steel .cfg thing i think it was, and there was an option to turn on/off cheats in hotseat...jjust wondering if the same can be done for singleplayer

what i usually do is just make a cheating and non cheating game.. lol the only way I can keep a good balance.. and quite fun =)

I had a bit of similar problem earlier, way too often i ended up using cheats and a short moment later i got bored and started a new campaign.

Now i do it in a following way:
1. I play a campaign with NO cheats at all.

2. I decide rules for cheats before campaign, for example certain amount of money from certain achievements etc. or certain buildings with process_cq cheat.
