Battle vs Timurids error

Here I am, fighting the mighty Timurids... I got 2200 archers, they got 1400 troops (included: Elephants, Archers and Cavalry)

Suddenly, then the elephants crossed the water, even crossed the stakes of my Retinue Longbowmen / Yeoman Archers, the game crashes to desktop ->

Any clue how to stop this error? (2nd time it happened)

Hi there

Well there are a few things that could go wron here. First of all does it happen each time in the same place? Did you make any changes to the files or do you have any mods running?
Check the system.log file in order to see what was the error message - there might be some info on whats causing the trouble.
Finally if you cant get through it and it happens in the same spot try autoresolving the battle - might not be the perfect solution but hey if it lets you continue the campaign I would say it is worth the try!
