I think I'm the only one that Hates Denmark

Just finished up a really interesting English campaign and boy, did the Danes make my life hell.

Those jack-holes simply would not lay off. They attacked me at about turn 20ish and kept at it. They'd send stupid little half-stacks at me constantly. This wasn't really that much of a problem except that they then made alliances with half of the known eastern world and I gained a ton of enemies for pretty much no reason. I decided it'd be best to simply take the hit, diplomatically speaking, and exterminate the poor bastards, but everytime I got started, the pope shook his stupid little pope finger at me and I had to lay off.

I tried diplomacy, but they wouldn't take a ceasefire for all the gold in my coffers.

I hate them, and I can't find a single thread where somebody else hates on the stupid Danes.

So far my only Teutonic Campaign I've played as them, and I'd rather be Norway .

I hate having to deal with them. In my English campaigns and others they are a pain in the neck to deal with.

I despise Denmark with a passion, for the exact same reasons you've lsited. They just wont lay off. I recently started a new Polish campaign and they made alliances with all my bordering nations, and they are all taking turns attacking me. Denmark, Hungary, Holy Roman Empire (How did they get so strong?!) and Russia. Now the Mongols just invaded. I think my empire is about to crumble . Playing as the English was so much easier.

lol. i'm playing as england right now and there doing the same thing. but now that i've payed off the pope they've been excommunicated. unfortunetely they've just regrouped and have conquered 3 of my cities.

Denmark when they develop a lot of money become unstoppable. It just tells you the dominance of heavy infantry over all things.

Denmark stopped being a problem for me in my English campaign after I basically committed genocide with my 8-command 7-dread general.

I'm not saying I want them removed. You're right, we need an antagonist, and this is merely the thread in which we can openly hate them.

Well... i think that the thing i most hate danish is their naval strenght at the middle of the game. In some periods of the game, i simply can't have a boat in the North Sea that it isn't attacked by a hundred of danish ships.

I can't freaking stand that. You cant have a naval presence at all. And they keep yelling "Engage me. OR BE GONE".

That line has worked its way into my normal dialog more than once, and only my MED:II friends actually acknowledge it.

I hate them too. They pulled that same BS on me. Then they FINALLY got excommunicated and were "Brought to Justice."

I've been playing as Denmark and have found the the English are a royal pain as they constantly are picking on me in Norway in Bergen.
