For some time now, a number of my esteemed colleagues and I have been enjoying the gentlemanly pursuit of a multiplayer EU3 game. This edifying pastime has enriched our lives, bringing a previously unimagined sense of fulfillment and meaningfulness.

You too can have that feeling.

All you need do is sign up here or contact myself, Fuzz, Kanaric, Vizigothe, or whatever it is that John calls himself these days.

The game takes place every Tuesday at approx 17.30 Eastern time or 22.30 GMT and we usually play for about four hours or so.

We probably only have vacancy for a couple of players at the most, as it's 1613 now and many nations have been eliminated from serious contention. If you want to have a look at the game save let me or any of the other players know and we can give it to you.

We have five reliable players, and the campaign has been ludicrously entertaining. But there's room for another player or two if anybody wants to get in on the action.

Ah, Ragabash, you posted while I was posting.

You know, it's easy to reinstall. It really doesn't take that long, and it's no problem to have two installations, one for 1.3 and one for NA. I urge you to do it!

We'd be delighted to have you, but we will most likely be playing 1.3 as I'm not sure if everybody can get NA.

I'm interested as long as it's NA version that you are playing (don't want to reinstall the game). I can take what ever faction, and even replace computer for any player that is absent for one session (player can then send me his ambitions for the session by PM, and things I should never do while playing the nation).

I guess I should had posted this on Anagennese but I doubt it matters that much.

I have modified my game files quite a much and I would hate to start that all over again. Is it possible to force installation of the game somehow? Modify registery files in the Windows (so it won't recognize previous installation) or something?

All you have to do is make a copy of (or rename) the folder that has all the stuff you want to keep, then make a new shortcut in your desktop to eu3game or eu3launcher in this folder (whichever you prefer).

Then you should be able to install a new fresh EU3. Since all your stuff is in a renamed folder the operating system won't associate it with your previous install even if you uninstall it.

In any case, if you have modified files you won't be able to play multiplayer with anybody, as the checksum won't match.

Ahha... That is what I'll do then (I should had figured out that myself but Ragabash isn't as wit as he used to be).

Now you just need to assign me a nation, or I could take over nations from absent players when needed. I'll let you decide that since you are more familiar with the progress of the game, and what is the most urgent help I can offer.

The strongest non-player nation is Great Britain. I'll get you a save later so you can have a look at the state of play, but I'm a bit short of time now.

give us pics of ur campaign so far for those that want to follow it?

baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah wait till after christmas when i will hopefully have a new pc (isnt sponging off people fun?) then i can get back into the game without the thing restarting the computer everytime i start it up.

Dang, Tuesday is my absolutely busiest day. If there was any other game at the same time but on a different day I would join in a heartbeat.

Apologies for not being able to join last two games. The real life have been quite hectic and now that it's getting easier once again, I would like to inform that I can join the games, if I'm still wanted of course.
