Default Will there be house rules?

We obviously have the constituition for how offices and the senate work, but what about some house rules. Just simple things like legion composition that can't be changed, limit on number of legions and the like. I would also like if we had to wait until 107bc(if i'm correct) for the marian reforms rather than rush them.

    What do we think?

I cant really comment on house rules as I have yet to play Imperator, but I agree to house rules such as not bribing armies etc

Legion composition should be standardized as possible. if we hire mercenary's they should only be cavalry to support or infantry.

I believe that best is to have our house rules in the forms of legislations when we begin the aar;Simple one clause legislations that will be later added on the constitution under the "House Rules" part... But in any case let them after we start the campaign as not to limit the game from the beginning.Imagine an aar with the complicated LRRA from the beginning...not good!

My only concern is being ridiculous with armies of 6 princeps and a few triarii, before reforms in 220bc. I unless we want to pass an act banning imperial palaces in italy, we will have reforms early.

and yeah legion compisition is a must lol i hate seeing 10 principes 3 trarii and the rest cavalry. lets be realistic...

So i guess it would have to be a law haha. to be voted on once the senate debates are open.

But be warned for a lot of CTD's before hand, between 180 and 178BC and 133-129 BC. Just save a lot of times.
