Re: differences with ctw
Well some notable things about Chivalry TW would be:
- It's only for the early middle ages 1072-1222 (if I remember correctly)
- Catholic cities have been replaced with castles
- Different factions (Bohemia and Pisa, but no Portugal)
- A system for the HRE, England, France and Sicily to go on "crusades" via buildings
I've not played RM so I can't be too specific.

Re: differences with ctw
this mod can have the potential of beating CTW!!!! all you have to do is base the mod to M2TW!

Re: differences with ctw
if the mod was for mtw2.. that would defeat the purpose for a lot of people who see this mods as a substitute to mtw2

I think rome medieval has a good campaign map, but the skins from chivalry are alot better. the thing that makes this mod better is the icons used on the campaign map chivalry has some strange kind.

I actually like the units in this mod, it makes it unique and different than other medieval mods...all of them use osprey and historical sources (don't get me wrong here, I like history) while this mod uses it's imagination to fill in the gaps and make a mod which goes for gameplay first, history second...also the units here give me that "empire" feeling and makes me want to send them to the far reaches of the world
.
Great mod.
