installation error

As the picture below,this error occured after extracting and at the beginning of the installation.
But this did not happen when i install eb0.81.
Does anyone know why?

Does your computer use an Asian language? I think that was the reason for problems like this. The installer gets confused and cannot read some symbols that your computer is trying to represent differently.

The solution is to open the installer with the 7-zip program. Then just copy the "EB" folder in the installer to your "Rome - Total War" folder. You'll have to then copy your desktop shortcut for RTW and add this to the end of the target line:

 -mod:eb -show_err

Once you do that, just use the shortcut and the game will load.

thank you very much. i've tried it and it runs well.
BTW,must i use the 7-zip to extract?what about winrar?
i usually use winrar and it can also extract EB correctly.

Really? WinRAR can extract exe's? I've never even tried. If it can open the file, then it should work just as well.
