GEneric error:

Unable to find barb_swordsman_1 or something like that.

It came from attempting to start the marian campaign.

It also happened when I attempted to start Imperator.

No you're not. The error is because it's wrongly installed.

Do a clean installation again.

I did do a clean installation again: about 5 times.

Time 1: The barb thing

Time 2 (I put the patch into the Imperator 2 final edition folder): I reach the game, but when I click on campaign, it says "Select an item from the list"

Time 3: Same as time 1

Time 4: Usual problem

Time 5: I decide to just do Imp 1.8. End result: Same as Time 2.

Install path:

C:/Program Files/The Creative Assembly/Rome Total War

Before you install the mod, run vanilla BI, click option and make sure that the number 1.6 is listed on the top right corner of the screen.

If not, then install BI patch 1.6

Yeah, it says 1.6

Install to desktop first, then move IMP folder (and all the rar.exe files) inside the Rome - Total War folder. (not Rome - Total War data folder)

It won't overwrite anything.
