siege weapon accuracy
I've searched and have not found my answer.
What dictates the accuracy of siege weapons and the rate of fire?
I've tried the attack value among other things and that didn't do anything.
Is this hardcoded?

Re: siege weapon accuracy
look for the descr_projectile_new.txt or descr_projectile.txt. the part that says accuracy is the part you modify. The lower the decimal value the more accurate it gets. The velocity is how fast and how far it gets. I dont know the limits just mess arround with it. This files is the files that dictates all projectiles (ie arrows, javelins, pilum etc). I modified my catapults to become as accurate as an artilary barrage.

Hey thanks.
However i'm trying to make ballistas more accurate, but they don't have that line. Only the fiery ballista arrow has it. What should I do?

you can just add it in both accuracy vs unit or buildings. Make sure its in proper order though.
