Cant get it to work

Hello, first of all I just want to say that this is a great mod!
I used to play it on my old computer, however I can't get IBFD to work on my new computer.

Every time I try to run the campaign or just play a battle nothing happens and as I exit the game I get a message saying that there is something wrong with my descr_strat in line 28 column 1

I don't know if this is a Vista issue or something, and I'm not very tech savvy either so please, any help would be greatly appreciated

2 possible ways to fix this,
1) make sure u have BI 1.6 installed, this problem is sure to criop up if u don't
2) unfortunately this problem also happens with some region versions (French 1.6 for example) so open up your '...Activision\Rome - Total War\ibfd\data\world\maps\campaign\barbarian_invasion\descr_strat.txt' then backup your file, then delete the line 'options bi'

i have a polish version installed, but I didnt have this poroblem on my older computer
