[SS AAR] The Norse Chronicles: The Official Hub For The SSv.5 Vikings

Welcome to the center that will connect my Norse campaign in Stainless Steel version 5. I am posting each AAR in a seperate thread due to the size of them and to be more organized so you can better access my work. As of Nov. 7/07 I have finished the prelude and have the first three chapters in the works. This AAR series purpose is to entertain you, the forum/TW junkie with a great story and some awesome screens. The writing may change and the style with which I create the chapters but it will all follow a as we speak developing storyline.

CURRENTLY IN UNPATCHED FORM Nov. 7/07
Three things may prevent this from continuing, 1. Faction Destroyed, 2. I get bored and take a break and then never come back, and 3. something goes wrong with SSv.5. I also hope this showcases the mod's potential and gets more people to try it out for themself for a great TW experience. (And I will criticize the bugs and or unfairness of some parts)

This takes place in the Early Era campaign with an infinite turn limit (well 4000+ to be exact) as I want to either conquer the entire world using this mod's ability, or die trying. This is my current kingdom and please note this was taken after the defeat of Evil Cousin Gotfred and The Sack of Visby.





Here are the Current Standings as of Nov. 7/07
Faction Leader: King Magnus (aka Prince Magnus)
Regions: 6
Wealth: extremely poor
Power: Only one standing army less than half a stack and two longboats plus 1-2 militia at settlements

Diplomacy:
1.Denmark-ally (obvious reasons. though the norse consider the danes weak pope worshippers weaker and beardless fools we are too similar to ignore the need to merge our power. plus they buffer me from HRE to the south)
2.England-ally (see Chapter 2 Invasion!: Diplomatic Solutions)
3.Leon-Castille (Spain)-ally (wanted to ally with strongest force on the iberian peninsula after their successful crusade of Cordoba)
4.Poland-ally (See Chapter 3 To Prick A Thorn)

We are poor just like in Britianna and we've used the same small force to take the 4 provinces added to our empire in the last 75 years. Things are looking grim should any large or relativly powerful faction decide to attack us like in ch. 2.
