Ctd in battle loading

I have soom wierd error with the game
when i play the campgain and start a battle the game loads , than the music stops and it takes few minutes to load and when it gets to the end it crushs back to the desktop and writes "unable to find data/vegetation.txt(null)

WTF ????

The games worked great and battle worked great and out of the blue this error came...

any help ?

now that is really strange, there is no file called data/vegetation.txt, did u edit the mod in any way? did u recently install other mods?

Yes there is !
In both bi and rtw folders !
I have done a clean install , with no mods , all the patches and still error !

i have checked how Bi work in vanilla mode and it works great !
so please can you tell me what it is ?

I know of a descr_vegetation.txt, I also know of a descr_vegetation.db but have never seen a vegetation.txt.

the data/vegetation/(null) in the other thread means that your data/vegetation/ folder is empty or doesn't hold the required files (usually texture files)

descr_vegetation.txt and descr_vegetation.db are needed to make vegetation show up in game.

few things you can do
1. install the vegetation options in the ibfd/options folder try both and see w/c one works
2. do this if first option doesn't work, and only if you vanilla bi and/or vanilla rtw works fine- delete (or rename) both descr_vegetation.txt and descr_vegetation.db from your ibfd folder - this will force you to use the rtw/data folder's files (w/c should be working)
