Seriously this constant pissing contest (my genre is better than yours) is idiotic. There's no reason to 'battle', and that just sets up a negative vibe on what is all just music and should be taken and enjoyed as a whole.

Many of the Kinks songs were banned in England. They were Mods like the Who.Weren't they the most poppy of the British Invasion?
This was pretty heavy for the time
the kinks- you really got me
As was this
the kinks all day and all of the night
Another of their real good early ones
The Kinks - Tired of Waiting
And this song is so beautiful
The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset
And to all the rest of you out there in the Matrix. My favorite Kinks song as its so true.
Shangri-La - The Kinks
And the greatest Christmas song ever
The Kinks Father Christmas
And oh so much more.
