But on another note, the country is nothing but ruins, poverty, and AIDS. But the question is this: WHY!?!? Why does it seem the whole continent gone to hell and how do we go about fixing it?

I wonder what would've happened if America's reaction to 9-11 would've been: nothing.

Kind of like our reaction to, say, the Embassy bombings. Or the USS Cole. Or the Marine Barracks bombing.

If history does indeed repeat itself, another attack would have happened.

But then again, the war on terror is not meant to be won... it's meant to be prolonged for geo-political/economic gains.
