how to turn off rebelling characters?

I hate it when a full army goes rebel!!! Call it realistic 'n stuff....its just something that pisses me off all of the time and I want to turn it off.


This is in the desc_strat.txt :

marian_reforms_disabled
rebelling_characters_active
gladiator_uprising_disabled
night_battles_enabled
show_date_as_turns
brigand_spawn_value 99
pirate_spawn_value 99

So I have to change rebelling_characters_active to ---> rebelling_characters_inactive?

Or is it rebelling_characters_disabled?

Hmm, I would like to see an answer to this as well, but for the pirates and brigands, which are simply a nuisance that just sit on your watchtowers.

if the spawn value is higher for pirate or brigands....the more likely they wont show up. That's why mines at 99 instead of the original number ( believe it was 20 ).

anyway, I put the rebelling chars line like this :
rebelling_characters_inactive

So far now troubles anymore. But i'm still not sure. The game at least didnt crash of it.

Or just put a ; before the line of text and it gets ignored.

something slightly offtopic: how do I disable that one can recruit Bodyguards?

You can find that in the export_descr_buildings.txt (I think). You will have to find the Earl's Stable or equivalent building and delete the line that allows bodyguard recruitment.
