RM install instructions

firs of all i must apologize for my english
secound, i need help...!

1. install clean version of RTW (that is RTW 1.0 {DONE})
2. i have patch RTW 1.2 / RTW 1.3 / RTW 1.5...should i install all of that or just RTW 1.5 after RTW 1.0?
3. 3 RM pack extract in wich folder? i have installed rome here D:Games/RTW/ (not in default C:program files/activision/rome total war/).
should i create new folder RM and extract there, or extract direct in D:Games/RTW/ ?

p.s.
i'm very confused about patches and all of that...

so, patch 1.5 or should i install after 1.0?

i seen on this forum that you talk somethin about modification for 1.5... i'm confused

yea man its now for RTW 1.5,dont use RM 1.0
press extract to RM 1.5 , and the files will be in RM 1.5 folder,continue the steps

OK, now i'm really sad
installation was easy, but now game don't work. i do everything from "read me" file!
on the end, i start the game, but after just a few seconds - pufff!
game was back to desktop...
i need help, what should i do now?
steps
- RTW clean
- install 1.3
- install 1.5
- extract, and overwrite "data" and "RomeMedievalMOD"
- create a shortcut of RTW
- go to shortcut's properties and paste D:\Games\RTW\RomeTW.exe -mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err

am i something wrong?

i cant see any wrong,but did you copy "data" and "RomeMedievalMOD" and paste them in game directory?
and the properties/target must be :
"D:\Games\RTW\RomeTW.exe" -mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err

yes, if you mean in D:\Games\RTW where the clean version of RTW is install.

"D:\Games\RTW\RomeTW.exe" -mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err also is no't working.
when i start RM - first screen where is CA, copyright, etc...and in backround picture of greek phalanx soldier, and then back to desktop. i don't understand why it does not load...why?

so you did it wrong,the backround picture is a sword,and there is no copyright,try to start the game from the shortcut which you created and added "D:\Games\RTW\RomeTW.exe" -mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err

i saw in some folder that sword is backround picture, but i don't know why he won't show on start...
copy/paste is not complicated process, but this is something what i don't get it...
OK, i will try to extract again 3 parts of RM.rar, an copy/paste (with replace) to see what is goig to happen then.

p.s.
when you extract 3 parts of rm.rar...do you select all files or just first "RM 1.5.part1.rar". other files will auto-extract after that?

press (extract to RM 1.5) for any part,the size after extracting must be 496 MB if that didnt work extract one by one.

OK, what now? i have folder with the name "RM 1.5". in that folder i have 2 folders and one txt file.
first folder "data" (166 MB size) i must copy in D:\Games\RTW and overwrite existing "data" folder.
name of secound folder is "RomeMedievalMOD" (329 MB size). i must also copy that folder in D:\Games\RTW.
is that all?

p.s.
"RomeMedievalMOD" folder consist of two folders "data" and "preferences". what i should supouse to do fith them? should i copy entire folder "RomeMedievalMOD" in D:\Games\RTW?

OK, i do everything of extracting and overwriting again, and nothing...same thing.

make sure you are using RTW 1.5

and so the story go on...i was very angry and sad because i can't install and play RM ...and after another "install again RTW" it works!!!
loading screen is show picture of sword in backround, and i was thinking to myself: "finally!!!!!"
firs i must go in create battles to see pictures of the units. i was happy to finally see it.
and then singleplayer to choose faction - but neither of the factions doesn't work...i can't play RM! when i click to the holy roman empire - it crush to desktop emmideatly. when i try to choose some other faction, and click to play (small arrow in the down right corner), the game is crush to desktop again, and again...
is someone have the same problem? how you resolve it?

p.s.
by the way, i have installed fix.

ok delete map.rwm file in romemedieval\data world maps\base try that and tell me,and what about custum battle is it working?

could you tell me exactuly when the error happens,when you just start the campaign or after a time or at the last of the loading?

no, it's no loadin nowhere..
error happens in the time when i just start the campain (when i click on the small arrow in the down right corner).
